Nowruz
For 2500 years Nowruz (New Day, Farsi: نوروز, [no-ruz]) is the biggest and the most important national event of Iranians. Haft Sin includes traditional items that are used as part of the Haft Sin table setting during the Nowruz (Persian New Year celebration). Each of the Haft Sin items holds a significance in bringing prosperity to the New Year. Iranian spread Haft Sin arrangement on the floor or table and put Gold fish, mirror, flowers and the seven items including Senjed (Oleaster), Sib (Apple), Sabzeh (Green), Samanoo, Sir (Garlic), Serkeh (Vinegar) and Somagh (Sumac).
