Sangak bread (Nan Sangak, Noon Sangak, Noon-e-Sangak) is a famous Persian bread, a flatbread made from wheat flour and mild yeast with some white or black sesame seeds on it. It’s then baked on a bed of small hot river stones in an oven (tanoor).

Sangak is simultaneously soft and crispy, it’s an ideal option for breakfast, served with cheese, a fried egg, jam, or even with kabobs. This bread has high fiber and sourdough basis, and has no cholesterol so its very healthy for your body.
